Primary Instructor/Trainer - Chantelle Slater Kryschuk

Chantelle Slater Kryschuk has over 30 years of experience in horses and showing. She is a Certified CHA Level 3 Instructor in both English (with Jumping) and Western. She is currently working on attaining her Equine Canada Level 1 Coaching certification. Chantelle began riding at the tender age of 20 months and never stopped. Overcoming many obstacles in her equine career, Chantelle believes in a classical approach with the safety and well being of the horse and rider in mind. Chantelle competed in Dressage, Arabian Shows, Western and Gymkhana classes for more than 20 years and attained Provincial and National Level recognition on her then mount, Prairie Slough.

Driving & Basic Training - David Slater

David Slater has been involved with horses for more than 30 years and is experienced in training horses for driving, both single and team. He is a part owner of Davlin Farms.  He is also very experienced in training young horses for saddle in any discipline, with special emphasis on safe and well-mannered trail and western horses. He also posesses a flair for re-training and believes that all horses have the potential to be excellent. Dave also teaches driving lessons in partnership with CK Performance Horses, taking over instruction after the driving basics are learned. He enjoys challenging the students and introducing them to advanced driving techniques. He currently owns and works three teams (a light hitch and a medium-heavy hitch and a pony hitch) and can be seen in and around the community doing public events such as pulling crowds of eager tourists at local Heritage Day celebrations, many weddings and parades. He also competes his medium-heavy team in chore team competitions.

Assistant - Tracy Delannoy

Tracy began her riding career at CK Performance Horses and has grown into her position as assistant. She has a passion for classical dressage and looks forward to competing on her horse, CK Dante. Tracy is currently working with Chantelle and Dave to expand her knowledge of training and instruction. She is also studying towards her Assistant certification with CHA. She enjoys working with the horses and clients of CK Performance Horses and Davlin Farms. Tracy performs the duties of Assistant, including basic instruction (barn), grooming and horse preparation, equipment and facility maintenance as well as gereral support for CK Performance Horses and Davlin Farms.

Business Affairs (CK Performance Horses) - David Kryschuk

David has been involved in the horse industry from a business aspect, managing parts of CK Performance Horses, behind-the-scenes. He also participates in off-site barn management at events. David enjoys learning more about horses and the equine business and looks forward to helping expand CK Performance Horses into the future.  

Business Affairs (Davlin Farms) - Lynn Slater

Lynn has been riding horses for pleasure for over 25 years and enjoys trail riding. She handles all business affairs, advertising and bookings for Davlin Farms. She also provides support for events that interact with CK Performance Horses.
