Davlin Farms is located 5 miles East of Beausejour, MB. Established in 1991 by Dave & Lynn Slater, Davlin Farms is also home to CK Performance Horses (owned and operated by Chantelle Slater Kryschuk). This multi-generational facility boasts a large private barn, riding arenas and numerous pastures. In addition to being home to CK Performance Horses, Davlin Farms also offers year round Hay & Sleigh Rides, using one of two teams and can accommodate groups of up to 100+ on-site (with the use of the Kabin, a heated multi-season building available to all public bookings) as well as being insured and available for off-site functions. Davlin Farms is often seen at local community functions and is available for private bookings such as weddings, socials, parties, etc.
The barn is equipped with large, roomy stalls, grooming/tacking area, private tack room and spacious loft. In addition to the barn, there are numerous pastures and paddocks. Aside from the required paddocks for horses requiring individual attention or quarantine, all pastures are no less than 2 acres and some are closer to 30 each, allowing the horses to be horses. Each pasture has access to shelter and fresh water with safe fencing on the perimeter of each pasture. Additionally, Davlin Farms currently maintains two arenas. The first is the Training Arena, which is 40'x50' in size with natural sandy loam footing, providing excellent drainage and cushioning for training. The second of the two arenas is the spectacular Main Arena. A large outdoor ring boasting 87'x220' of superior natural footing, the main arena is a three season ring that can be ridden in through all but the heaviest of rains, providing excellent drainage and spring, well-cushioned support. This arena can accommodate dressage, jumping, barrel racing and other gymkhana events as well as being uniquely equipped to accommodate up to 8 draft teams. The main arena is also very well sheltered from the elements by a 4 row tree mature tree line.
